Default Anyone running 35" or 37" tires on a 2012 yet?

If so, how does it do?

Here is my dilemma, I had planned on running a set of 37" GY MT/Rs on my 2012 JKU and regearing to 4.88 shortly thereafter. Now with the regearing issues that the '12 is having it might be a while before I can regar the thing.

So I'm wondering if anyone out there is running big tires and how it does with stock gearing. I know it should do quite a bit better with the added low and midrange torque. I can't decide if I should hold off or maybe just run some 34" duratracs for a while. I'm just not a fan of the JKU on stock Rubi tires. Thanks guys.

Give it 3 or 4 weeks. AEV will have the update on their ProCal ready. Than you can re-gear. The ProCal works on tire size adjustment now, just not gears.

I too want mine lifted NOW! However, I am waiting a couple more weeks. I made up my mind to do the 3.5" lift and 35's for now. 37's and flats down the road maybe.

btw- if you really want 37's, just wait a couple weeks vs making the choice to go with 35's because programming isn't available yet. Ypu'll kick yourself wanting the 37's after your done.

I have 35s on my '12 with 3.21s I have a set of 4.88s ready to go on, but too need the Procal revision to make it work right. I wanted 37" KOs, but they were sold out everywhere. I have a 3.5" lift on the Jeep and it drives great and looks how I want it too. It's a very user friendly set-up as a daily driver.

Have a set of 35" going on my 2012 Rubicon in about 5 hours. Ditching the 33"s on it currently. With the 4.10 gears, I need a lot taller tire for DD. My AEV Procal correctly changed the tire size with no problems encountered. It exactly matches my GPS speed.

I have 35s on my 2012 auto with 3.5" AEV lift. I believe that my Jeep is the one that surfaced the issue. Had 3.21s (from the early order snafu) and were okay (certainly easily driveable), but not ideal. Now have 4.10s and I'm stuck in limp home mode as a result, but it'll be fixed by Tuesday with an interim AEV/Jeep solution. Based on my 500 miles with 35s/3.21s, I'd be extremely hestitant to go with 4.88s on an auto - unless you go with 37s. If you can, wait the 3-4 weeks for the ProCal update - the work-around involves waiving a dead chicken at midnight.

I'll be going with the RK 3.5 X-Factor lift and chopped fenders with the 6-speed. Maybe I can get away with 37s for a bit with the 4.10 rear end.

I was under the impression that there was a diff sensor that was screwing things up and that we were going to have to wait untill the 2012 programmer was cracked to regear. Good to hear they will have it sorted soon.

Really wish there was someone out there running 37s with a 6speed and 4.10 that could chime in. Hey and congrats on everyones new JKs
