Default Is anyone running firestone m/ts?

I'm looking to upgrade from my 32s to 34/35s. I was looking at getting firestone m/ts. If anyone runs them? Are they good? Worth it? How do they handle on the dirt, road, and rocks? Any pics too. Thanks

My buddy had them on his FJ, he had to replace them after about 25,000 miles. They wore down quick and he always had issues with air leaking around the beads on his wheels. There a soft tire that gripped well but like I said they wore down real quick.

Oh ok. Well I don't need tires that need replacing 25xxx miles later. Thanks for the input

I have them on my 3/4-ton diesel pickup. They're wearing great. They have 25,000 miles on them and there is TONS of tread left. I don't know what the guy w/ the Toy did to them.

I have no complaints about the tires other than that they suck on icey/slick roads.

Gratuitous crappy pic.

Ronin must have gotten a bad set.
I had a set of 33s on my 94 4runner and absolutely loved them. They looked d@mn good and wore great. I sold it with a little over 20k on the tires and they easily had another 20-25k left.
As long as you rotate them regularly and watch you're pressure they're great tires. I agree with Tsl though, they suck in icy slushy snow but then again what unsiped MTs don't.

I ran 31's on my TJ for about 4 years (50,000 miles). I liked them and they were a great price. Did some offroading but nothing crazy, mostly snow and sand and they did fine. I do remember them getting no where near as loud as my bfg KM2s after a few years.........

So they are worth it? I rotate my tires every 5xxx and I dont want to go extreme wheeling. Kinda just want the big tires look and a little playing offroad. So recommended? Or should I look for some others?

Definitely recommended.
I bought mine from an online wholesaler. Mine were 15s so generally cheaper but even so they were shipped to my door for under $600 which i couldn't get anyone local to touch. If you don't have someone in mind it might Be worth googling. Can't remember the name but
google Firestone wholesale and it should come up.

I just got a set of 285/70/17's on my Jeep the week of thanksgiving. For a mud tire, they really aren't a noisy tire on the pavement which surprised me. For the guys that say they aren't good in slush or ice - I heard that too before I bought them. I had them siped at the shop I bought them at for an additional $6 per tire. We haven't had too much snow since I've had them but the several inches we did get, I'd go out and play and they did great! Haven't been in deep mud but I've been on muddy powerline right of ways as part of my job and have yet to get stuck! Then there's the looks...they really look like an aggressive bad @$$ tire! Here are some pics:
