Default Anyone running rancho bumpers?

I'm looking to buy a rear bumper with tire carrier. The rancho looks like a good deal but I'm wondering if it's to good to be true. Has anyone expierienced rusting on it?

I can tell you for the past 2 weeks I have read reviews and seen videos on their bumpers and can tell you a few things:

*strong and good paint
*sometimes the install of the fittings and bushings are a pain as well as getting the close latch to line up.
* with hi-lift mounted, tail gate will not open all the way for access.
* a few had rattles, but cut a daystar tire mount and stuck between bumper and carrier and it was tight.

This is only some from what I read and seen posted. Rancho I know makes quality stuff I know. I was going to get it, but after comparing the ORFAB bumpers and carrier to it, I went with the ORFAB and bought them from Northridge and will see them mid Jan. Northridge is just an awesome company and they are informative as well!

Good luck!

I am still tossing around whether or not to get this one also. The price is great, and the reviews are good for the most part. The downside (for me) is that it is a 'stubby', and I would like a bit more corner protection. I can always have something fabbed up, but then it's the same price as the next couple lowest priced bumpers.

Decisions, decisions...

I had the rancho and got rid of it because it was too hard to open and close. It was so tight but it still squeaked like hell. I would do everything i could to not have to use the rear and that sucked.
I now have a rugged ridge with tire carrier and love it. It ended up only costing like $150 more.

The rear is priced right but does not offer recovery points for d-rings.

I have the Rancho. My trailer hitch offers an adequate recovery point with a pintel loop or just a pin through it. It's easy enough to open with white lithium grease where Rancho says it should be. I don't have my Hi-Lift mounted on it so I don't know about that interference.

I like the minimalist stubby look, but it definitely leaves some ugly looking unfinished bits visible. I don't really care.
