Anyone running RPM Steering Drag Link & Tie Rod?
Wondering if anyone is running the RPM Steering Drag Link & Tie Rod? How are they and have the rubber boots on the drag link ends ripped?

Being that I live here in the Phoenix area, it was a no brainer for me to pick up the RPM 1 ton Al. tie rod and drag link for my 2013 JKU. Only had them on for about 2 months so no boot rippage as of yet. Installation pretty straight forward, so far no worries. My only complaint is the off set rod ends are rolling over due to a hydro assist added to the steering.
IMO a lot of ripped boots, across various manufacturers, comes down to owners pumping so much grease in there and using that boot as an unnecessary "grease reservoir".
Hey Resharp don't want to steal OP's thread but finding some low-misalignment boots or something like the "cure" from Ruff Stuff... that will be my next attempt. I have played with how the hoses route and the positioning of the clamp on the tie rod to try to prevent the tie rod roll, but it ain't working.
JKJB- why did you ask about RPM products ? are looking for Aluminum tie rod and drag link?

Ive had dynatrac prorock60s on my jk since 2013 with currie steering(tie rod and drag link). both parts have been great however always dealing with ripped boots on the drag link. i just ensure if i go through water i flush the joints with fresh grease once the boot is ripped, hasnt really been an issue but kinda getting tired of it(and lazier as i get older). so i asked dynatrac what they use/recommend and they said rpm steering hence my original question. the boots on the rpm drag link look similar to the boots on my currie drag link. ive been using the RP66974 low misalignmemt with the currie tie rod and 0 flop with my psc setup. its really been great simce i got those and the right tapered ball joints for the ends.

JKJB, good to know you were using the Synergy RP66974 pucks on a Currie drag link. The Synergy website stresses the low misalignment only work on their products. I want to order and install on my RPM tie rod but was unsure if they would fit or work with RPM TRE's. I have found that repositioning the hoses has helped some on the tie rod roll I have been experiencing. These low misalignment pucks should be the final answer.

I've seen great customer service from Rare Parts firsthand when helping a buddy with their ball joints long ago when they were less common than they are these days. Those are some pretty good guys over there. On that note, that sounds exactly like something Synergy would say as well.
