Looking for some feedback on the Procomp 2.5" JK lift. Ride?/Control?

Any pictures would be helpful also, thanks

First, welcome to the forum.

Second, you won't find much love from Pro Comp on here. However, I'm running the 2 1/2" CRT suspension lift and it is great. I've ridden in several lifted JK's and I prefer the way mine rides over the others. It has a nice even stance and the ride and drive is better that stock.

If you go with it there are two things I would suggest. Don't use the axle mounted rear track bar re-location bracket or the cam bolt that comes with it. For the cost of the kit, you can ditch those parts and buy adj track bars and be better off.

I have lots of photo's under my project if you want to take a look.

I love mine, my wife has even commented that she likes the ride better
super easy install
2.5 does not come with any relocaton brackets, it does not really shift the axels over enough to need them. the adjustable track bars and control arms are very nice and can be added later if you so desire
i would suggest the rear brake line extension brackets or make your own

Really? Mine came with the bracket for the rear. But, you're right, it's not needed.

Thanks, looking forward to the project. Calypso, your Jeep is sharp! I'm looking at that set-up, 2.5" lift, 295/70/17's.

Did you have any problems clearing the spare tire attachment/3rd brake light with the 295?

Thanks. No probs with the spare, plenty of room. You will probably need the Daystar tailgate bump stops if you run an after market wheel.

If you get this kit, check out this write up and installation will be a breeze;

Talking

I am waiting for the rest of my 2.5" crt lift kit to show up, I have the shocks and springs but the rest of the hardware is still in transit....bummer.
I can't wait to get it installed.
I also bought rear adjustable track bar and JKS front sway bar quicker disconnects.
It is supposed to be here on the 26th of may.https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/imag...s/thinking.gif
well I have all the parts, now friday after work I will begin the project....I hope all goes well....

ok, well it is Sunday and I thought that I would get started this afternoon on installing my lift kit, front wheels off,, swaybar links off, started to remove the shocks and I thought I would have a look at the new shocks. I got to checking them over and discovered that they sent me the wrong front shocks, the lower mount brackets were wrong...I am glad that I checked before I had the springs installed.....THIS SUCKS...
so I put it all back together and now have to deal with trying to get the right parts here...it took long enough to get all the parts here in the first place...over three weeks...OH WELL...

Also may be going with this lift, as JK-KJ on here as recommended it.

May I ask why RC isn't overly liked on the board? I realize there are other vendors on here, but diversity is what makes the hobby fun.

Where are you located in Arkansas? I might be able to give you hand if you need one. I just put a RC 2.5" kit on my JK about 2 months ago
