I've got one up front and it seemed to work very well on my last trip. I had it installed by Northridge4x4 at the same time I had them regear. Apparently, the 5.13 gears use the same carrier as the TJ, so David put the same one a TJ would use in mine.

The same locker that fits in a D30 TJ will work in our JK's but Aussie lockers are testing products right now and I hope they will have something soon because I am waiting. I have read some where by mid April (ie. NOW! ) it should be fully tested and posted on their website. Here in Dallas we have a few JK's running the TJ version. I would not think it would change much if at all.

Both Dana 30s (TJ and JK) have 27 spline axles. So both sets of axles will fit into the same locker.

The locker does work assuming your tolerrances are within spec. I had to pull a thrust washer out of a 95 Dana 30 to make the locker work in my JK. The thrust washers on my JK were to thick and was not providing me the proper clearances. Some folks are changing out the carrier to ensure they have the proper tolerances. others have been lucky that there tollerances are within spec. out of the box.

In terms of all other aspects, the aussie fits just fine.

The aussie does work and we have tested it now. Also Aussie is testing it now also.

From what we have seen you will need TJ thrust washers for it to work. The JK thrust washer are twice as thick as TJ's and this will make your tolerances to tight.

Have you tested the D44 30-spine rear yet?
