Default Anyone using HP Tuners?

Any HP Tuners users here that want to share tune files?

I have HP Tuners for my GM and my Wrangler. I have a lot to learn on it, but this type of thing is right up my alley.

Here is my show and tell story: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-s...ocking-358747/

@Sixty4x4 is experienced using HP Tuners. I can't think of many others off the top of my head. He might see this and chime in.

Unfortunately my JK tune file is simply stuff turned off to not throw codes and allow the Chev engine to talk to the Jeep side and vice versa. My tune file for the engine is a setup to run on a MAF tune for both power and economy and is for a 2016 LT 5.3 Chev engine.

Thanks, I ran across another post of yours talking about your swap. Pretty cool!

The hardest part is figuring out and understanding the parameters and what they do. the names of things is a bit cryptic and lacks documentation (for 'Dodge'). GM stuff is pretty well covered.

You are 100% on that last post. Dodge parameters are not very well documented. I would recommend you join the HPTuner Forum. Under the main "forum" heading there is a section related to Dodge so go in there and ask gently. Usually somebody helps you through things. Also a couple of guys from HPT stay on there and help people through issues. You said you were a software guy - I used to program PLCs and wish I had access to the source codes for both GM and Jeep but alas that is a dream. I almost installed a Haltech system to replace all the Jeep crap which would have used the TIPM as a relay switching center and always made wipers shut off and windows work, fuel pump run etc etc. IE reliability and access to the software. You get the point.

So with all that tuned off, everything works in the Jeep? I’ve been a technician a long time, but I’ve never got to the tuning side. I’ve been thinking about Ls swapping or hemi if it made it cleaner. Are you running an entire GM powertrain? As far as tuning is there anyway to make that traction control stability button just an on off switch? I don’t like the idea of that kill switch and I always forget to hold that button for 10 seconds.
