Default anyone using the RC stubby winch bumper?

im looking at this bumper because i like the look, want a winch and PRICE is very fair. Just wondering with that price if the quality is up to par. im only going to be doing light off roading. very rare a rock would hit it mosly dirt from creek crossings, small trees on the trails and thinks like that
thanks

I have one. I'm very happy with it. The main piece is 3/16" steel and the end caps are not much thinner. Its all held together with grade 8 hardware. Very solid and sturdy. I would not be afraid to bang it off a rock anymore than my ACE rails.

I have one and it works great for me. Its essentially A recessed winch mount Plate that goes between the frame rails, and two frame rail cover plates to jazz it up. That being said for the price and what I'll use it for, i love mine...nice and light (excluding the winch of course) inexpensive, and easy to bolt on. If i had a complaint it would be the bolts they supplied are painted torque style bolts that have locking nuts. It was easy to slip a little while bolting them down inturn scuffing the paint on the bolts and now they show a little rust after only a few months, but its a minor complaint. Replacing them with stainless fasteners would solve that...all in all for the price its a great, inexpensive, clean way to mount a winch if that's your main objective.

Seems like a great option to mount your winch. I just ordered one with the fog light end caps. should be here Wed. If you so a search on this forum for "Rough Country Stubby Hybrid" you'll find a 50+ page thread with pics and reviews
