Question Anyone Weld On Beadlocks to stock wheels?

Anyone use beadlock specialties' conversion kit on the stock rubicon wheels?

From what very little I know about welding (and that isn't saying much) it is very difficult to weld to alluminum.

Never seen them.

Kind of a Hijack but along the same lines. I had a buddy that had a competition rock crawler some years back. We were discusing bead lock options for my Jk. He advised me he used a 3m adhesive to glue his tire to the wheels? Anyone ever heard of this????

Like an R/C truck? Nope, never heard of it, but would make sense, I guess. It would be a pain when you're tires wear out though.

I think Burnsville Offroad had done something like that on some Moabs.

while I already bought a new set of wheels and went a different route, I was curious if you could use the Staun beadlocks on the stock wheels. I thought that that would look awesome and make it more comforting to use larger tires on stock wheels. Just an idea

its nt that hard u just have to set the welder up the right way for it to work but it might be a pain to change tires

i know Champion does this and has for years,

send them your aluminum wheels and they will make beadlocks out of them
