Default ARB Compressor Install

Hi guys, installing the ARB compressor for tire inflation only, no lockers yet. Anyone know if it's necessary to install the pressure switch to the compressor at this time or can I just install the coupler for the tire hose directly?

Thanks...

I would guess that you should install the pressure switch; it will turn the unit on and off... If you have a tank than it is a must do regardless.

I just installed mine and if I was you put that switch on I feel it important or you could damage your new compressor.

The pressure switch is what turns it on and off when it is running and it hits the desired PSI. If you don't run it you compressor would be running constantly, and I don't think this is a 100% duty compressor you would fry the motor pretty quick.

I ran the pressure switch. Turns the compressor off after 2 seconds of turning it on since it builds full pressure that fast. If it wasn't on, the compressor would continue turning. Add the pressure switch off a t-fitting. The other end, thread in a quick coupling.

I used 2-Tracks Engineering bracket that bolts to the master cylinder/brake booster area.
