ARB Diff cover strength
I'm running 35s on my Dana 44s. I wanted to give more strength to the axle. (yes i will probably sleeve it real soon). ARB claims over 900 pounds torsional rigidity to the entire axle assembly by using their diff cover. Is this really going to help my axel while protecting my gears?

I've beaten the shit outta mine they have a bunch of scrapes and have held up great. I just touch them up with paint once in a while. I bought them because they are proven tough and I like to think that mumbo jumbo about the axle strengthening is true. Not sure if it is or not but its nice to know its there either way.

Here is a pretty interesting article about diff covers strength test with a rifle....

I saw the report and video but is the diff cover really going to prevent me from cracking my 44 housing while running 35s? Not an engineer but I don't understand how it will increase the housing strength.
