These are bitchin looking.

One thing to make sure to pay attention to....cuz I didn't.

The lube lockers say to ultimately torque to 35 ft lbs. start with taking everything up to 15...then go back thru and torque to 25. There are several on the forum who broke the Allen's off when they went to 35. That's a bit of overkill.

I'm going to go back thru and back mine off bolt by bolt, to ensure I don't leak out. I'm gong down to 25 as per recommendation by ARB and Northridge, and others on this forum.

BLACK.

I didn't know they offered black.
My fix was easy.
I prepped my red ones and painted them black, then used a razor to peel the paint off the lettering.
Prepped that with a light sand paper and clear coated.

They blend in better and still have a little panache.

I was just wondering , I did not get ARB diff. covers because they look like , and I have heard that they don't hold as much gear oil as other covers. You know , the way they look like the ring gear is sticking into the cover? What says you?

There is no issue at all with the amount of oil the diff will hold with a Arb cover

Yes that's what I did after I stripped out one of my rear diff holes. I bought longer bolts and went to 25lbs but noticed a little seeping so I went back and torqued to 35. Been good since. You don't want the feeling of stripping out the bolt hole, its not a good one and I was going to 35 as per the directions with the CRC link. Fortunately there is at least another 1/4" or more of threads past the stock length bolt.

It looks like the ring gear is sticking into the cover because of how thick the iron is they are made of. Go to ARB's site or youtube and look at the video of them smashing a cover with a sledgehammer...you'll see that you will probaly break your axle housing before killing that cover.
