ARB differential covers D44 front and rear 2011 Rubicon JKU
I am posting this with the hope that others may benefit from my experience.
I replaced my front and rear differential factory covers with ARB covers on my 2011 stock suspension Rubicon.
1- It was a pain in the A to correctly figure out the proper amount of oil that should be filled, specially the front. The dip stick is useless if you don't set the proper level and mark it accordingly, plus part of it is guess work.
2- The front D44 had rubbing issues with the trackbar. Had to grind and shave off the right top corner of the logo with a grinder (I am not happy about that at all. If I knew that would be the case I would have opted out on the front one)
3- The rear differential on the Rubicon has a bracket that bolts on the cover to hold the Locker electric wire. You can not use the bracket with the ARB Cover. Had to fabricate something to do the job.
Overall, nice covers and look good. The downside you have to do some modification for both front and rear covers.
I am still not sure it was worth the $476 that included Lube Locker gaskets and tax for both.

Thanks for the post, I have been looking at changing the diff covers on my 08 Rubicon and have not decided on which cover to go with. I started to by the G2 aluminum cover but backed out. I do not think having aluminum up front is a good idea.
I had to grind the piss out of my Rear ARB cover and RK rear track bar. Found a broken 12 O'Clock bolt on it the other day.... Guess I didn't grind enough.
Plan on extending my bumps another half inch and trimming the track bar again. Not worried about the diff bolt right now, no point in draining the oil and fixing something that really isn't functionally broken (Once I ensure clearance.)

A non-Rubicon will have a D30 front differential vs a D44 on my JkU. i hope someone with a D30 setup can answer your question.
I just put an ARB front diff cover on my Sahara. It's got an AEV 2.5" Lift but it looked like the clearance was fine either way. There was a note in the computer when I picked it up saying it needed to be lifted however.
I am running a Riddler cover on my 44 front with a 3" lift. Looks like paint has rubbed on track bar, but no need to grind at all. That sounds like a lot of cash. I've got the riddler up front, SOLID one on the rear both with lube locker and maybe have $275 all in.
