What time of the year are you in Colorado? Look for some input on running full time lockers in snow/ice if you are up here in the winter.

Hit one patch of ice, and you may decide that a selectable would have been worth the extra money...


(I ran Detroits front and rear on my Ram for many years. Made it interesting getting up to the ski areas when it was snowing!! You get used to the handling, I guess, but I think I'll go with selectables for the JK)

I usaully go up there during June. But it seems to be snowing more in Texas than ussaull also.

That is not possible in a JK lockers or not. I have been in the rocks with one front and one rear hanging and the traction control kept me moving smoothly along. I had detroits in my cj so I know what a locker can do but lockers are FAR down my list of mods because the traction control is so good. As long as you are in 4lo it works great in the mud too.

BTW, I have done the funny dance to turn off the ESP. Some claim this disables the "locker like action" but it does not.
