Default ARB Locker not Locking

I have an ARB locker in my rear D44 and it isn't locking in consistently. The air compressor will run continuously and sometimes it will eventually lock in and other times the compressor runs non-stop. I've checked the line from the compressor to the pumpkin and the fittings are tight and the line is in tact. The problem seems to be worse when it's cold. Any ideas what I can check? Thank you!

based on what you are saying, you clearly have an air leak somewhere along your air line. if your fittings and o-rings really do check out, you definitely have a leak somewhere else.

I checked the o-rings and the line and all looked ok, but it is certainly possible that I missed something. The locker was locking fine when I was testing. I will check it again when the compressor is running continuously. How likely is a leak inside of the ARB unit itself? I haven't pulled the differential cover as of yet. Is there an easy way to test the internal unit without pulling it apart?

if the compressor keeps on running and the locker is leaking in side, the air will make its way out one way or an other. i would check your axle breather as you should be able to feel/hear/smell it coming out there.

I tested it tonight and the air is coming out of the differential breather tube big time. It does act like an o-ring. It is free flowing when it is cold. It will hold when the diff warms up, but the compressor has to run every minute or so to keep it locked in.

The shop that installed the gears/lockers is out of town. I may dig into it myself. Does anyone have a diagram of where the o-ring is? Thank you!
