Default Arb O.B.A underhood problem

I purchased the 2012 arb underhood package from northrigde. Everything was there when I opened the box and the bracket fits flush and all the way down under the hood but the compressor is to big height wise. Any ideas I tryef to make it work 3 separate times I was thinking maybe I got the wrong model compressor. Also for those who have use the compressor in there jeeps the wiring diagram says to splice a wire into the ignition wire. I was curious why and I know another wire goes into the acessory for the light of the button

Thanks in advanced nick

I haven't installed one in a while but I seem to remember the cylinder(s) being able to spin to configure in many different ways. There should be a way to loosen them up and spin them in such a way to where it will fit.

Yeah, you have to spin the aluminum cylinder around to the front.
