Default ARB rear install

My jeep already has an ARB hi outout compressor under the hood.

Was wondering how hard is it to install a rear ARB locker into my D44?
I'm not looking to change gear ratio, so I would only be pulling the carrier not the pinion gear.
Do you need a case spreader?
What are the odds the backlash will change?
How long does this install usually take?
Anyone have experience with the locker install only, not with a gear swap?

What would be more benificial, a aussie locker up front or an ARB locker in the rear to replace my limited slip?

Yes you will need a case spreader.
The carrier bearing preload & backlash will need to be set up as per ARB instructions.
It's aprrox 6-8 hours, adjusting preload requires adding & removing shims.
