Default ARB vs AEV bumper. Which one?

My anniversary is coming up, and I need to pull the trigger on one of these. I REALLY like the AEV bumper, but is it really 600 dollars better than the ARB? I would be perfectly happy with the ARB, but I was reading an install write-up and it requires cutting off the cans on the Jeep and/or cutting into the ARB bumper to make it fit, or something to that effect. Doe anyone know how many modifications need to be made to install these bumpers on a 2010? I have a socket set and most tools, but I don't have a plasma cutter or welder or anything crazy like that. Thanks for your time.

I think both are nice but the AEV is crazy sexy to me.

I love the AEV as well. It looks like it belongs on a JK. Whether its worth $1200 is another matter.

AEV released the milspec for the reason of the huge price on their regular bumper, for their fancy front bumper i loved it from the second i saw it. But the same goes for ARB. I never heard any bad things about either of them so where you put the money surely you'll get a good Solid* product.

Gettign it on is the rest of the battle

AEV has a very good product so has ARB, but the ARB looks very Australian (bullbar) & suits a Landcruiser. In my opinion the AEV looks better on a Jeep

ARB looks amazing on. Pictures dont due it justice. Plus it is a brick shithouse. AEV is overpriced like all their stuff.
