Default Aries security cargo lid and trektop nx

I really like the cargo solution, especially because it can be aluminum. It says it'll fit a factory soft top so it "SHOULD" fit with a trektop nx. However that would be an expensive OOPS if it didn't.
Anyone running this combo?

Anyone using the Aries lid at all? I'd like to hear pros n cons before making a $450+ purchase

This is for a 4 door

Default Areis Lid with Trek Top NX

I run this set up. The soft top goes on with no problem. Getting the tailgate bar attached will be the hardest part, unless your tailgate bar and tailgate bar brackets are seperate.

My tailgate bar and brackets are riveted together, therefore it makes accessing the top of the lid more difficult. I just use the cargo area as a trunk. I open the tailgaate and put my belongings inside. It's awesome and secure when your topless and doorless. I put a net across the rear most roll bar and usually put an ice cooler and stuff on top of the lid.

Yeah I can see how the tailgate bar that comes with the TrekTop would be difficult to use with this cover.

You can use an OEM style tailgate bar and brackets with the TrekTop.
