Default Artec lower control arm brackets install

So I am getting ready to install these brackets, but I am not sure if the axel will align with the instructions. Has anyone have an experience installing these? The directions state to weld them 1/2 outside the coil bucket bracket. This seems a little off from the stock bracket Click image for larger version

Measure the ones you have coming off. I've installed many Artec brackets and kits and you really need to measure yourself (including angles so they are equal on both sides). Easy stuff though.

Yep I just did these. I recall the 1/2" being correct but I also took many more measurements for where the stock bracket was before cutting it off. I used the center of the bolt hole as a reference. Not perfect but my worked. The reason the 1/2" might LOOK different is that the Artec bracket is much thicker material than the stock brackets.

I suppose that makes sense. Any other tips? My driver side bracket was repaired at the shop so I cant really go by that one. My axel is about 1 inch to the driver side so I was hoping these brackets would get everything back where it should be.

If your axle is shifted due to a lift then these are not the correct answer. You said the driver's side mount was repaired so if the axle is off due to an accident then these are a stepping stone in the right direction but I'd still check your track bar.

You need an adjustable front track bar.

I did I swapped out the trackbar with another stock one and it did help quite a bit, but there is still some room for improvement. Jeep has stock springs, but It looks like there are 2 inch spacers in there. Let me attach a pic Click image for larger version

Swapping out the stock track bar for another stock track bar is going to do absolutely nothing to help center your axle after adding lift. Unless like another person stated, something was bent due to an accident, in which case a new stock track bar might help a little. But to center your axle under the vehicle, you MUST use an adjustable track bar.

Any suggestions on track bars or are they all about the same? Looking for one that will adjust from 0-3in lift.
