Just had the new 3.8 liter Jasper installed and noticed there’s ATF leaking down the bell housing.

I have no idea what would cause this. But it wasn’t leaking before the instal. I am being told it is the “front pump seal” for the transmission that is leaking and the mechanic says it has nothing to do with the engine replacement.

The other thing is, the starter turns over a bunch of times before starting. This is intermittent, but I took it back once already and it has started doing it again.

any ideas about these issues?
