Question AT (ATZ BAJA) vs MT (BF KM2)

HI, I'm in the process of building my jeep (jk 08 sahara 4d)

I will put a 3" lift (tera) and 35".

My jeep is 6 month old an I have over 35,000Km on it, so I think I put a lot of mileage.

I thought I would go with Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ but the place I will go to jack it suggest BF KM2.
He says it will not be much different on the highway and better off road. Also, he pointed out that the BF will last longer than the ATZ...

Any thoughts on this?

Those tire will not be used for winter. (I have Bridgestone 965W for winter)

thanks

They are two different animals, if you do alot of off roading the KM2 is a much better choice, but if you do only highway driving the A/T will give you a smoother and quieter ride.

If you were getting an A/T I really like the BGF All-Terrain series.

I have 33" KM2s on my jeep and they are amazing off road, and have pretty good road manners considering how agressive they are. Around 70mph you get a nice hum from them, but with the top down and the tunes up I never hear it anyways

Why not get the mtz. It's a radial mud tire so it'll be good on and off road. But, you can't compare an m/t with a a/t, like the post above they reAlly are very different beast

I lost about 4mpg going from the stock Sr-A goodyears to my 33" KM's

But hey, its a jeep, don't worry about the MPG, just think about the FPG (Fun per Gallon)
