Aussie/Auto Lkr Guys HELP
Ok , gotta another question now. With a frt auto locker, shouldn't I be able to jack one wheel up and spin it and have it lock. Also, when I jack the whole frt end up and spin the tires, shouldn't both spin forward? One side acts like it wants to spin forward but doesn't. On my last wheeling trip on a short turn, heard a loud pop, visually checked, no broke axle joint. It still pulled in 4wd, but seemed like it wasn't locked up frt. Maybe I'm just paranoid but I rotated my tires today and the frt I can usually get to lock by turning the tire, not today. Something broke in the locker? If so , what?

Ah, think I mighta been overeacting. I can turn the ds by hand and they both roll forward. Seems like I remember it locking by turning the tire before
I'll call tommorrow and see if it's normal before I pull the cover. Makes no noise on road except for clicking on some turns.

that sounds like normal auto locker noise to me.I know that sometimes Aussie locker and similar designs do shear off those little pins sometimes and those little springs behind them commit springacide but I doubt that is the issue if it isn't clunking down the road. At least that is what I would think. Good luck man.
