Default Aussie Locker for JK ? or else ?

I'm looking for a Aussie locker for a JK X 2010 Rear and maybe front too. Seem like the Aussie locker wont fit yet in the JK so i'm wondering if you guys can suggest something else.. Dont want air compressor and stuff.. just a mechanical locker like Aussie.

Advice ?

Lockright in the front of mine, kinda clunky when turing on concrete into a parking spot, kicks ass offroad though.

What's so bad about it? Anything besides the obvious parking lot noises and poor snow driving characteristics?

Ok and some of you have some advice for me.. ?

Need REAR locker for my DD JK, mechanical one. No SERIOUS off-road for now.

I do a lot of highway but most of the time in 2WD. 4WD only when hard snow and nearly never at highway speed.. so my locker will be just for fun and "offroad". dont really mind bout the "clicking noise" but is it really that loud btw ?

anyway.. go ahead and fill my head with advice, tips and info..

Anything that'll fit a standard D44 will fit the JK D44. So that means detroit locker, auburn, eaton, pretty much whatever.

Dont know where to start , I've had no problems with my ox lockers and i'm on the trail at least once every week. As for noises in parking lots while turning I have heard nothing. Also, I'm running 4.56 gears with 35's with a 6speed and needless to say These lockers have gotten me through some pretty sketchy situations. The only problem I ran into was installing the rear locker, the case is double drilled for 3/8 and 7/16 (hardened steel), while the casing or the outer flange is only drilled for 3/8 (soft alluminum). What i'm talking about is the point at which the ring gear attaches to the locker. I think both should be double drilled, as I had to drill the casing out to 7/16. Drilling this out is not a problem it took like 20 mins. and 15 took finding the drill bit. I would reccomend running Ox lockers to anyone on this site, hope this helps. You can contact ''OX locker USA'' 24hrs. and you will alwasy reach the same person, his name is Chip he is the founder, engeneer, and tech rep. of these aplications. or you can reach him online at (not sure about 24h): .ox-usa.com/ox/Home/tabid/365/Default.aspx"]ox-usa.com/ox/Home/tabid/365/Default.aspx
