auto driveshaft in a manual
Is there any difference between a stock rubicon auto and manual driveshaft?
I put a pretty good ding in my driveshaft and now I am getting vibes at 60-65MPH.
I took the jeep to the dealer for some other warranty work and tried to see if they would cover this but no dice.
A buddy of mine just changed out his front and rear driveshafts with aftermarket ones and said I can have his old rear one if I would like. Would his auto shaft work in my manual? Im thinking yes but just want to check here first.

Sorry I know this thread is old, but I have the same question and didn't get a definitive answer above. The question is: on a stock 4-door JK, are there different drive shafts for an auto trans versus a manual trans? Are the fronts the same but the rears different?
Thanks for any help.
