Auto trans issue after trans cooler.
I have a 2007 2 door and I installed a Sprintex Supercharger a few months ago and it's been great. With the summer months here I noticed my transmission was gettin hot so I installed a trans cooler a couple days ago. Ever since the install after driving it for a bit (over 1/2 hour) I noticed it's hard to put into gear. Like instead of it clicking and the gears being separated it's harder and sluggish when shifting. Any idea what's goin on? Air in the lines? Any input would be much appreciated.

Did you add ATF after the install to make up for lost fluid and added capacity? Have you checked trans temps to see if everything is functioning correctly? Restriction inside the cooler? Kinked lines? In and Out lines installed correctly on the cooler. There's numerous things that can cause this and you just need to go thru the list and check them all off.
Added trans fluid, lines aren't kinked, lines installed correctly, I just can't figure it out. At this point I'm thinkin there's air in the lines. For the first time ever, I'm about to take it to a shop. One of my good friends is head mechanic at the dealership where I bought it and my 2014. So hopefully he can figure it out big wheelin trip this weekend.

Both sides, lol this is not a "I don't know what I'm doing" issue, I've just never encountered anything like this before. I installed the Supercharger without one issue so the obvious things are all accounted for.

Well you started the thread and with a comment of air in the lines it sounds to me you are not a mechanic. So I'll ask more questions. How many miles on the trans? Is there a delay when you put it in gear when cold? What is the color of your fluid and does it have a burnt smell to it?
