Automatic to Manual transmission swap
MXDAD my son is selling his 2016 Ruby JKU 6 speed, well loaded with leather and all that stuff, It is Canadian so has metric gauges and has 85000kms on it which is about 53000 miles. You can text me at 403-763-7168 if you are interested and get the low down on a few mods done.
The 4:1 transfer case in Rubicons gives you a nice crawl ratio in Low 1st & 2nd gears.
Mine does fine in Moab. The San Juans around Ouray & Telluride have much longer steeper climbs than I have seen around Moab. Never have had any issues.
Ultimaley, it boils down to your personal preference as to manual versus auto.

Sorry for bring up a dead form!! But 6 months ago i researched everything I could on what I needed for a auto to manual swap!! I blew up my automatic and found a 6 speed nsg370. All in all spent $2500!
Everything needed
Harness from TIPM to PCM from a manual for slave cylinder wiring
Manual transmission wire harness from same year
PCM flash at dealer or just ground out yellow/blue wire on connector 4 on PCM like I did
clutch pedal and rod to hold it with clips
Flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, flywheel bolts, pilot bearing
everything else like
Drivelines, trans mount t-case all bolt right up!!

Honestly, it's not an easy swap. It's a big job and needs more than just the transmission (clutch, pedals, wiring, etc.). You're probably looking at around $5k-$10k depending on parts and labor.
It's usually easier and cheaper to just sell it and buy a manual 😅 saves you time, money, and "what did I get myself into" moments 😅
