Default Availability of Locker

Does anybody know what the availabilty of the lockers that go in the front 44? My stellar dealership thought my locker problem was a switch, and low and behold guess who was right, the lil ol' customer. Just like WOL has had the locker needs to be replaced, and i am supposed to leave for Drummond Island tommorow. The mechanic said he test drove and it was fine in 4 wheel, i said did you lock the lockers? He replied 4 wheel was fine. I explained how you have to push the button to lock the axles, and he goes, "oh, you know more than me about this." he never locked them up, so he never tested the actual problem. this is supposed to be a "5 star" dealership too, ha, my ass. in my opinion they should rip the locker out of one on the lot and put it in mine. it their screw up they should pay, not me by having to cancel my vacation.

Does anybody know the availability of these lockers? Is it possible for the dealer to get it overnight or are they that f---ed up at DC they can't even supply parts. I live "near" toledo and would even drive ther personally to get just so i can get it in and on my way w/o missing to much of time.

Sorry for the long rant, but i am steaming from the ears right now!!!!!!!!

Oh and for those that don't know.. the front will lock, but it will not unlock, the rear works fine.

WOL posted some detail on how to manually disengage the locker. As I recall you can take a small screw driver, and work through the diff oil fill hole to manually disengage the locker. This may not be an elegant solution, but I thought that it may buy you some time. Search around for the post, it's out there.

Yeah i have read that and honestly i am not confident enough in my mechanical skills to try it and then screw something up worse while in the middle of the woods or where ever i am.
