Default Avenger Supercharger

I was told by a guy having the Avenger SUper Charger installed that if it's installed by an authorized avenger dealer they will warranty your 3.8 engine and the SC for 100,000 miles. Has anyone heard of this? DO the other 2 SC companies do something like this also? Although i guess you still have to buy a new hood or mod yours with the avenger.

Avenger's website says the supercharger is coming out in February, 2007.

Oopps.

It's easy to guarantee something won't break, when it doesn't exist.

I have a flying saucer that I guarantee you won't crash.

LOL

I would be interested in this. I like the idea of pressure normalization when heading up to high altitude. Supercharger woulld be great and is probably in my future unless I can find a good CRD swap available.

Jeeees , Gergy, not a dig at you. I live in Denver, so I'm really interested in keeping power at altitude. Avenger had me going back to their site every few days in late February/early March in what I felt was a repeating joke on me of "how do you keep an idiot in suspense".

At least Avenger could change the date or do some kind of update. Avenger seems to have a really good rep and they are close to me.

I really think that Jeep is going to bring out the CRD or a V8 for the JK. Taking a V8 as an option was a question on the Jeep Jamboree website a while back.

I'm not looking to drag race, but even my JGC with a HO 4.7V8 gets bogged down fully loaded in the mountians.

Sonic,

How does the JK (4 door?) do with cooling at altitude and load? I've read some posts of people saying that they have issues with the JK overheating when the radiator is getting less then great airflow. Our airlfow may be good, but the air may suck!

Two kids and lots of crap load down my JGC with a 4.7. My wife hates my driving in the mountians already, I don't need to white knuckle her anymore.

Luckily, her family was big on putting superchargers on their trucks and Suburbans back in the 80s and 90s when they drove to Grand Junction a lot, so the idea is not foriegn.

Why don't you guys just call Jack at Avenger with your questions:

719-594-5365

I know he's done extensive work on this new supercharger and it is going to work excellent.

Sheesh, if people actually got to the bottom of things, what would we all talk about on the internet?
