Axle Bolts keep stripping...why does this happen every time??? PLEASE HELP!

Me, too. Even at 95 ft. lbs., I've had three lug nut covers break off, leaving an 18mm nut that the lug wrench won't fit on. Now I carry a breaker bar with an 18mm socket just in case...

Oh yea I forgot about the stupid covers, I ditched all of those crappy stock lugnuts and actually put on some steel 13/16 lugnuts from my buddies BFH cj7

Something else to check also is the depth of your new wheel. If more of the wheel stud is exposed the lug nuts chould be biting down to deep and cross threading when tightened back on. I went through this and after the 3 time I installed wheel spacers and shorter studs then I never had this problem again.
