The way I used to adjust them is to unbolt the frame side of the trac bar start the jeep and turn the steering wheel . You will notice the body move over the axle. You will figure it out pretty quickly what way you need to turn the wheel to get it to move the way you want it to. Then once you can stand back and view the axle centered underneath the jeep adjust the bar so it will slide back into place. Bolt her back up and you are ready to go. If your trac bac has a lock nut on it MAKE SURE that is tight.

The place I take mine locally actually earned my business I usually buy tires from them anyway, but...

After installing a lift (not my JK) I carried in for them to re-align, after putting it up on the rack he came out and said it was fine no need to do anything. I asked him what I owed him and he said you don't owe us a thing, have a nice day!!

You're talking about adjusting the shift without the adjustable track bars? Just by turning the wheel? I think I'm confused.

After I installed my 4 in superlift it was over on passenger side about an inch and 1/2. Had to screw the adj. trackbar all the way in and I'm still about a half inch over on passenger side.

Smile Axle Alignment..

I just installed a TF 3 Inch and my front axle was shiflted to the drivers side by about an inch. I ordered and installed and adj. track bar. I pulled the orig. one out and made the adj. one about half and inch longer and re installed. it still was completely right, so I pulled it loose again and did some more adjusting and think it centered now. No big deal, just a mother of a time trying to get things lined up. As far as turning the steering wheel, hum, i turned mine and it messed up the steering wheel alignment which was an easy fix.

I am talking about adjusting the placement of the axle underneath the jeep with the ADJ. tracbar disconnected at the frame side. That way the axle can center itself under the jeep. Then once its centered adj. the tracbar so that it bolts up nice and easy. If you didn't disconnect the tracbar all you would do is turn the wheels, which wouldn't fix anything.

yes when you adj the tracbar it will change the steering wheel position, which will need to be adjusted. Which is cake.
