So i have been doing exactly that: Research... And I want to ask a question... I am not planning on rock climbing as much as just trail thrashing with a little rock crawling... So in that case I have been thinking that a true trac in the front and an arb in the rear might be a good combo and save some cash. Please comment on this. Also for your information I live in north arizona there are hills, snow, and ice if those play a factor in the locker set up let me know too, thanks again!

Do you already have an OBA setup?

A TrueTrac is my favorite traction device for those front d30's. A TT in the rear would be great for areas with winter weather. A detroit may also be a good option for the rear, as a rear auto-locker is more manageable than a front in those conditions. (it just depends on how much weather you typically get) An ARB would be my choice for a selectable, but consider the total cost of the locker + air source to see if you want to go that route for just a single locker. (front/rear arb's would split the $300 air setup cost over both lockers ) So $1150 or so just for the rear ARB, $600 for a Detroit, or Quadra has the rear TruTrac on sale for $480.

Decisions, decisions...

In that case, stop thinking about D30 mods and start looking at a Pr44.

Depends all what u have on ur jeep already. If you stuff 37's and don't have the room to flex them then what is the point of having them? The Ride quality for me having 37's is fine I guess :thinking. Safety? Well at least if you slam a ditch with some 37's that you will make it through to the other side. Hahahahaha :beer

i have everything stock on my jeep right now. I hear that when you go up in size from 35s to 37s you need new front end if D30, new drivshaft, new angles, taller lift kit at least 4", other lift kits (like body kits), and several other mods i may be missing when just adding 2 inches to the tires?...

price difference probably at least 3-5000 dollars?? would you say just for the 2 inches?

The reason I am debating is because I'm reading a lot of posts that say they "wished they had gone bigger" or "do it right the first time just go with 37s"
