The modifications are very minor to fit the Artech truss with the Aev high steer. A saws all and cutting wheel are all that a needed and its really only 2 cuts that need to be made. I feel a lot better now that it is trussed. Dirtman, thanks for the reply. I done this more as insurance than anything. I had to replace the ball joints and figured I would do this while I was at it. I still have a few things to do to the rear and if I can save the money, some stronger axle shaft are on the list. I have read that should reduce the flange issue.

I actually removed the c-clamp and had the bracket welded to the axle and truss. I had forgotten about the cuts for the c-gussets. You need to cut the sway bar brackets that came with the Aev kit as well. It is very straight forward once you have the axle out from under the jeep and start putting the puzzle together(the Artech truss). It took 3 1/2 hrs to weld it up with me helping him. We also made some lower control skids while the axle was cooling. Be sure to weld in small increments so you don't warp the axle.
