Default Back Again . . . need suggestions!

Thanks again to everyone who so graciously made suggestions and helped talk me thru the bumper process. I LOVE the one I picked with the grill inserts. (See pics at the bottom). I'm afraid Jeep mods will soon be an addicition

Now I'm in need of new tires and I figured since I got the money, why not get some new wheels. Again, I'm basically going into this blindly. I have no clue about tires. I have asked around and gotten a few suggestions but I'm still VERY confused. I was told by some to get BF ATs, some Bridgestone Revos, Nitto or Toyo? Why can't they just make like 3 choices?!?! Its worse then shopping for clothes! I'm pretty sure I want an AT tire just for looks, though it probably won't see anything but pavement, ya never know.

I think I can handle the wheels. I'm gonna stay with 17', in case I want to put the factory ones back on when I sale it. I know I want a black one, with a little silver to sort of tie in my step bars. I'll probably end up with XDs or ATXs.

Basically I need to know what my best option is for a tire. I want something semi- agressive thats going to look good, but last a long time. What do you Jeep experts suggest? Thanks again for your help!

P.S. Sorry if the pic is ginormous. I just put it up without resizing it. I'm going to get a black bug deflector to add a little more flash to the front.

If you are planning on staying on road most of the time the Goodyear Duratracs are a great tire. They also rank well in wet/snow conditions. I think you will like the looks of them as well, very aggressive looking.

Check out the B.F. Goodrich AT's , I've had them on many vehicles and they work good and last a long time, and if you do go on some trails, they will be ok...
Also, look at the Black Rock line of wheels, they are not real expensive, I have them on my JK and really like the look....

Did they do away with the "JEEP" laser cut logo on the off road bumpers? Looks like a stick on badge on that one.

I like what you've done with the Jeep! I'm running AT tires--the Dick Cepek FC
IIs. I picked them because they have an aggressive looking design, and
because they rate quite well on overall performance, and especially on wet
roads. They aren't cheap, however. The wheels I have are all black, but they
are available in a couple configurations of black with silver accent in various
places. You might check them out--Procomp 7089, 7189, 7289.

I think they did do away with the lazer cut. There are also two holes in the front to mount a plate I didn't know was gonna be there. Seems like an odd spot for a tag?!?

I am pretty well decided on ATX Artillery Wheels (black) and narrowed it down to 3 tires with the guy at a local place who must think I'm cute b/c he gave me SUPER good prices. I haven't been able to find a better deal anywhere else or online. I'm trying to decide between Cooper ATR, Nitto Terra Grappler, or Bridgestone Revo 2. I told him just to give me 3 to pick from. I knew a couple ppl with these tires and they all seem pleased. You know how women are! I'm way too indecisive. I appreciate all the feedback! Keep in mind, I just want an aggressive look without the noise, ha ha.

I'll post pics as soon as its done. I just hope it doesn't look rediculous with no lift, ha ha. I'm midget sized and would need a slingshot to get in if I put one on!

The Cooper ATR is an A/T,just not all that aggressive.

Out of those 3 I'd pick the Nittos. Excellent in rain and snow, good in the dirt, and they aren't loud.
