I'm gonna have 33's and I'm wondering if or how long it will take for the spare tire to bend or damage the rear door?

Ran 33 on my stock gate for 2 years... upgrade to 35s and Rancho bumper to support the extra weight. You'll be fine

^^^^What he said. I currently have a 35 on my factory mount but will be pulling it off to add the OR-FAB tire carrier soon.

It took about two years before my tailgate started rattling with a
34x12R17. I wasted a lot of money trying to chase down the rattle. I wish I'd have just put that money towards a bumper/carrier. Get a daystar spacer kit to support the different offset and cross your fingers. That might be enough if you do it from the get go.

I wouldn't worry about with a 33. I've got a 35s on mine right now.
