Default Back spacing for 37's

Quick question and I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about this but I can't find it so I'll ask....

What back spacing is ideal to run 37's? I'm currently running 35's with 4.5" bs and don't want to run spacers. I'd rather get new rims if absolutely needed...

What do you think? Thanks!

Go with 3.75" that tends to work out nicely.

My 35's are touching the frame rail in full articulation and steering wheel full locked with 4.5 back spacing.

You need the 3.75 for your 37's and aren't they a wider tire as well?

You can get a 12.5" 37. I just picked up some wheel spacers so I'm netting 3.25" back spacing. No rubbing under normal driving conditions.

Sent from my thingy.

I had a lot of rubbing on my lower CA's at full lock and in some other places under full lock and flexed up when I ran just my 4.5" bs wheel. Went with a 1.5" spacer and have no problems. That is a net 3" bs.

What width wheel were you running? My 35x 12.5's clear with no rubbing at on my 4.5" bs wheels. I want to go with a Nitto 37 which is the same width.

I've been running 37/1250s on 4.5" back spaced wheels for a few years now without any major complications.

Two door and now a four door. Rock Krawler lower arms on both and the two door rubbed a little at full lock with the 2.5" coils in it. The JKU isn't rubbing at all with 3.5" coils, but I'm about to drop it down on 2.5 so I'll try to remember to update this with my findings.

Just throw some wheel spacers behind them and go on down the road if you do have some rubbing. But do be aware that the very low back spacing will lead to ball joints needing to be replaced.

Right on... I'll try it without spacers, just hate the idea behind them. I plan on replacing my ball joints before I put on 37's so that'll work.
