What is the recommended wheel backspacing for 35x12.5 R17 tires?

just from what I've read 5 is safe

4.5 to 5 works. I have 4.5 and they stick out about 1.5" which I like.

So, does that mean I will be safe with 16x8 with 5 inch backspacing? I am going to be running 305/70 BFG's...
