Default Backspacing on AEV Savegre wheels?

Does anyone know what backspacing these wheels are?

Quadratec lists them at 5.25..

http://www.quadratec.com/products/92500_1332_07.htm

and the Pintlers at 4.7..

http://www.quadratec.com/products/92500_10X_PG.htm

but I remember a few people saying the two wheels were the exact same fitament so how can that be?

They are listed as having +10mm offset (~0.4"). Since they are 17x8.5, the backspacing is 4.65" (nominal 4.7" just like the Pintlers).

What do you mean "too far from stock"?

They are perfect for 11.5-13.5" wide tires without the need for spacers. That is what they were designed for.

I am running stock sized tires though. 255/75/17. I assume those are not a good match for these wheels.

They will probably still work. Tires that size usually can take rims in the 7-9" width range. Check the manufacturer's specs for your specific tires.

Also it appears the link you provided for the savegre wheels is a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Thant is probably where these different backspacing figures are coming from.

Yup just checked if you go to the savegre wheels with 5x5 bolt pattern you will see that QT has them listed as 4.7 backspacing.

I ran stock sized Rubi BFG MTs on my blackrock wheels (4.5" bs, 17x8) for about 15,000 miles until I got my 35s. Personally I thought it looked a lot better than stock with the wider stance.

But won't I have handling and ride issues since Im not lifted and putting stock tires on this backspacing will drastically effect scrub radius?
