Default backspacing help with 37x12.50

Im going to run a 4" suspension lift or a 3"suspension lift and a 1" body lift.

I want to run 37x12.50 tires with 17s or 18s. What backspacing will I need so I dont rub? I dont want to run spacers.

IMO, Get the 4" suspension lift, and the body lift.

Then you dont need to worry about Wheel spacers or BS.

4.75" back spacing will work, but you might rub your front airdamn..

I wouldnt suggest BL on JK's they looks silly, and are not needed..

I'd go for a 4" lift, What company are you looking at?

I want to run a 4" Superlift with Bilsteins.

37x12.50 Goodyear MTRs or 37x12.50 Toyos

5:38 gear... suppose to be out in Jan

I was thinking about the Rancho 4" long arm kit but I dont plan on wheeling it that hard.

Ive always liked the wider look. Im currently running about 3.5" of backspacing, 35x12.5 tires stick out 2 inches past the front flares.

I have the AEV pintler beadlocks which are 4.6" backspacing and the 37x12.50 tires rub both the frame and the lower control arm. I can raise my truck up to about 6" over stock and it only gets a little better but does not go away at full lock.

I would recommend a 4" backspacing with those tires.

WTF are you talking about????

It doesn't matter WHAT suspension lift/body lift combo you run, you HAVE to change your backspacing either with new wheels or spacers when you run bigger tires. I think this issue has been fairly well aired on the forum thus far.......

Not to hijack the thread but does anyone know if the factory 18's offer enough backspacing to run 35's on a Black diamond 3" lift?
