Yeah, 5.75" of BS will get 12.50" wide or wider tires to rub. You really need about 4.5" to clear everything so if you already have new wheels, you might want to pick up a set of 1.5" wheel spacers like Spidertrax makes.

Sorry Ryan, this is incorrect. JG, I am running 35x12.50x18's on 18" wheels with 5.25" of backspacing with no problems. 4.50" might be ideal, but anything under 5" should be fine.

Really? I am running 35x12.50's on 15x8's with 4.75" of BS and the shoulder lugs just barely kiss my lower control - not enough to hear but enough to see a small shiny spot developing on them.

Hmmmmm, WoL, mine are fine. I had originally gotten 1/4" spacers because I didn't think that they would be (because everything that I had read said you needed 4.5" or less). My wheels are 18x8.5" with a +12 offset, that equates to 5.25" of backspacing. The only rubbing that I had was on the airdam but that thing has long since been trimmed. I know there are a few others on here (Mudpuppy and Rebel) that are running my wheel now, but I think that I was the first on here to have them. Maybe one of them will chime in about any rubbing issues if they have them, but I don't.

4.5" is a great backspacing to run with 16" or bigger wheels. If you have 15's, it seems most need to have 4.0" backspacing or less.

Nice wheels. I like the Goliaths. I believe a 1" spacer would be fine for you, however, if WOL is close to rubbing his control arm with 4.75" B.S. on his wheels, you might want to get 1.5" with 37's, just to be safe. I'm sure that our differences with rubbing are a combination of wheel/tire type, plus just because it's a 35x12.50 doesn't mean that it's actually 35" tall, it could be more or less depending on the manufacturer. I'm planning on moving up to the Nitto 37's, but the PSC locks that I'm getting will have 3.5" of B.S., so it will be a non issue with those. Good luck, and no problem on the fog lights, I'll help any way that I can, just let me know.

You'll definitely want to run the 1.5" spacers if you are getting 13.50" wide tires.
