I also would like to know before I purchase tires. How do they do on rocks?

Very good tires, I loved my set. Are you looking at the radials or the bias tires? I had the radials, and they excelled in everything I ever had them in. Did very well in the sand!

Good tires off road but a little rough and loud on the road due to lug pattern. I had those on my TJ and the KM2's on my JK. The KM2's have been a lot better on the road but probably a bit less capable of moving material off road.

These tires did look good for the type of mud we have up here which is very sticky slippery stuff. I had a set of Xterrains on my old pickup and I was happy with those but with Procomps recent price hike I am looking at these Claws.

It is a very similar tread pattern

I just took them off of my TJ. (33x12.5x15)

They were unstoppable on the trail, but a nightmare on the road. They're fine at first, but wore badly. At about 1/2 tread, they get really loud.

I replace them with BF Goodrich MT KM2s, which were soooo much better on the road, and almost as good offroad.

The Maxxis Trepador has simular tread pattern to the claw but performs better on road and offroad. The trepadors have heaps of siping and the claws have zero siping and trepadors grip well on slippery muddy side slopes and the claws doen't and just slide. The only negative for the trepador is the limited sizes.

I have them on both of my Jeeps. They do great offroad but roar a little on road. They wear good if you rotate them often.
