I balance my 40" Swampers on Hutchinsons. If I didn't I could never drive it on the freeway. I did it at the local 4Wheel Parts but most big rig tire shops can do it.

I'm on 40" Toyo's and I have 0 weight in them. Walker Evans beadlocks. Have put about 15K miles on them in the last year, including a trip to Moab, and 2 trips to Mexico at highway speed without so much as a wobble.

I've never had success with beads, I think our tires are just too wide for them to work; and the worse part, if/when you find that they don't work... you've got to break the wheels down so you can suck them all back out.

Call around and find a shop that can spin them for you. Discount tire around me can.

I had success with beads in 35s and 37s but have not with 40s. I finally broke them down, vacuumed them out and then had them balanced at a shop here in Stl. It was hard to find someone that would do it but finally did. They run perfectly balanced now up to at least 75mph (I haven't had it faster than that lol). Try to get them balanced if you can.

Discount Tire balanced my 37s and 40s on beadlocks. They used weights. I dont like the beads because they can clump together and cause an imbalance.

balancing rings! I've been dying to try them...

i forget the wheel manufacturer but they make bead locks with a tube in the lock ring. in that tube is fluid and steel (i think) balls... dynamic balancing rings or something like that. Used in big rigs. BUT i REALLY wish they had a set up available for JKs. You can buy a universal one in our bolt pattern, but it goes between the brake and wheel and you'll need space between the caliper and wheel itself.

I'd love to find something like that, balanced wheels, no matter what wheel/tire is on that corner!!!
