Balancing method 105 beadlocks
eh... likely less that they are idiots and rather are trying to deal with customers that may want to hold them accountable legally in some strange way. In a world where you can sue for almost no reason, they may be 'gun-shy'.
basically, we will balance the tire/wheel combination but won't put it on a vehicle that is licensed for public roads. gives them plausible deniability

He called there safety guy right in front of me and in the end. The corp policy is I can bring in the tire mounted to the wheel and they will spin it and add weight. That's it!
So, that may be the end of my discount tire balancing and rotating... Northridge 4x4
I'm going to use a local shop to balance the first time. (Static) then go from there.
Most beadlocks are not DOT approved therefore it would be illegal for them to bolt them onto your Jeep and have you drive off their property onto public streets. It's all about liability and not wanting to take the risk.
Just to get the truth out. Discount will:
1. Mount tires to beadlocks
2. Balance beadlocks
3. Bolt beadlocks to the vehicle.
The caveat here is, like dealerships they are all different. Some will do all, some will do none and some will do some. What the discount tire does that YOU use, is unique to that shop.
So, shop around.

1. Discount Tire WILL NOT mount tires to beadlocks. There might be an individual that works at a Discount Tire that will but as a company, it is against policy to do so.

I do agree with...."shop around".
Lots of companies have lots of policies, all I'm saying is they don't mean anything if they are not followed. This is not always a rogue individual some stores are simply more liberal with how they do business, right or wrong. I have a policy not to hump fat chicks but sometimes I ignored the policy. The fat chick still got humped despite my policy.
