Default Ball joint question

after my lift was put on I took it to my alignment shop and they told me I needed an adjustable upper ball joint to fix the camber I believe. (Don't have the spec sheet but I think it was camber) they said it's not too bad but I noticed a very very minor pull to the left. ( could be power of suggestion as that's what they told me I would feel) I knew the day would come to have to replace the ball joints( my understanding was they aren't the best). So my question is does this sound accurate? ( I know the manager of the alignment shop and he offered to do it for free if I buy the ball joints so I don't think he's pulling my leg) and if so what are the best ball joints out there?

Thanks,
Eric

PS I tried a search but didn't find much.

Sounds like you need front lower control arms or drop brackets. At a minimum.

You don't need adjustable BJ's. Camber is fine. Your caster is at 2.5 you are going to want to bring that up a bit. Adjustable lower control arms or brackets will fix ya up. Nothing an alignment shop can really do besides recenter your steering wheel.

So if I got adj LCA then the alignment shop should be able to get it in alignment? Ball joints and LCA are things on my to do list but I can't do both at the same time and would like to address this alignment thing.

Factory specs w/32" factory tires:
Caster 3.7 to 4.7
Camber -0.6 to 0.1
Toe 0.07 to 0.13
Thrust angle -0.25 to 0.25

Rancho's specs for my 4" Sport Lift w/35" tires:
Caster 4.6° ±1.0°
Camber -0.25° ±0.63°
Toe-In (each wheel) 0.15° ±0.15°
Thrust Angle 0 ±0.15°

You definitely need either adjustable control arms or relocation brackets.

"That's a pricey thing we can replace." is all I'm hearing from that shop. I bet those lower control arm bushings are shot. This will be me 2nd time dealling with mine and it's an 08 and pulling right right now
