TF confirmed this for me today. For the extra money, to get a lifetime warranty, I'm going to go with TF ball joints.

Good stuff man. Hope they work out well for both of us! The preload adjustment seems pretty cool, wonder how it'll pan out b

Teraflex ones have a lifetime warranty. I run then, and they've done just fine. Stock blew out 500 miles after I lifted. Tera... Solid as a rock

Actually, this isn't true for two reasons.

1) They will work, but you have to grind down the forging line on the stub shaft. Although not ideal, if you're comfortable enough to change ball joints, a little cleanup of an axle shaft should be nothing.

2) I'm running RCV axle shafts.

If mine make it to 50,000 miles I will just replace them with stock. If they go out in the next few miles I will go with something different most likely. I like the sounds of the XRF ball joints tho.
I've got OEM ball joints. First set went around 30 or 40k, I'd have to look it up. Replaced under warranty. I've got 124k on them now and all is well. I will check them this Spring as I'm getting slight tire wear on the inside front right so it could be from that.

I've been running 33's on 3.75" BS rim for most of these miles. 35's on 4" BS on the trails. I just upgraded to 35's on 5.2" BS for daily drivers and plan to go to 37's for the trails.

But as someone said, maybe it's more to do with entire setup and installation.

I've had a 2.5" TF coil lift on since about 2 years old and 40k miles.

(knock wood on all of this!)

I have around 18,000 miles on my stock ball joints and they feel fine. I have the AEV 4.5 lift on 37" Nittos and have had that setup the whole time. 2014 JKUR

I have had synergys on my d30 for 80k and now synergys on my pr44 all with 35s and some good rock crawling over that time. I brought this up on wol and got executed because I had a friend (with video) had a dynatrac bj fail early and my synergys were doing fine. Like it was said before don't fall into the hype pit, and don't bring up this subject on wol
