ball joints
alright
anyone know how hard the ball joints are to do in the jk .. what tools are needed and it is possible to do on the driveway
both my front lowers are shot and i need to get them done .
are there any aftermarket ones available have not searched yet figured someone on here would know ..

To do it by the book, you need a ball joint press. However, I've changed so many I cannot count just using a BFH and being really careful. Unless you know what to beat on, I wouldn't recommend it. The press will do a much cleaner job although it is much, much slower.

what type of press any one got a link for what they look like . i have a buddy that has lots of tools . but he does not know what most are for so i need some pictures to see .
have done everything else on the jeep so far .. going to see if i can do this

Most auto parts stores around here have a loaner tool program and they have ball-joint presses.
I bought one at Harbor Freight pretty cheap and even though it's imported "junk" it's done 4 vehicles so far so I'm happy with it.
