That's true!!! Lol

Went through 2 sets of synergy BJs at about 20k miles each. Put in some dynatracs bjs instead--so far so good, but only time will tell. The other thing w/ synergy ball joints are that they are all knurled. This may slightly open up the holes in the C's, possibly preventing you from ever going back to a non-knurled ball joint. Because of this, I had to order the dynatracs in a knurled version since I ran synergy's previously. I was a little annoyed.

I'm having a place install my synergy ball joints in a couple days I'll let you know how they feel after I get rid of the worn stock ones.
they quoted me $450 for the install!? That sounds like a lot of money to me for a ball joint install!?

Not having any issues with my bj's knocking on wood, i'm running baby tires so i hope the stockers will last some, currently at 45k miles, but since i was curious about how much would it cost to replace this items, i emailed one of our local Jeep shops, and they quoted me $550 for the install, the ball joints are the US alloy ones, which were quoted at $175. At another forum i was told this were pretty much like the Synergy but cheaper, same quality.

I'd say that's ridiculous since anyone with a wrench can do it themselves.

This is true only about a 3 hour job.

Take all apart, ball joints come in and out in 15 per side.

I'm sure everyone knows that Invest2m4 didn't mean that literally. If anyone is interested in what it actually takes to do that job, this photo album has pictures in the last half of it showing when I did mine. The photo captions explain what's going on.

Its hard to say if they drove the same new, because the synergys were shot and were wobbling all over the place by the time I put the dynatracs in.
