I have a 2011 JK 4door and I am wanting a tuner. I have read where no one has cracked the code for this year model yet but while searching I found that Banks says that there's will work with the 2011 JK. I clicked on the SC and Bully dog on the same sight and they both said it would not work with my jeep. Any info on these tuners and does anyone know if they will work with the 2011?

Everyone on here keeps saying they will never deal with the 2011s. Since the rolling security code is the issue, you can be assured that they are trying to crack it for the 2012s. Once it is done, I would think an 11 tune would be easy.

Doesn't matter whether its a 2011 or 2012 as the engine has nothing to with the problem. Same issue with ECU access for both. You won't get one without the other no matter which year they focus on. Since the '11 is the first gen, I would believe that they would keep building from there. They just need to get on the stick and crack it, as I want one as well.

So, why did Chrysler decide to add that security to the ECU code?

It's not that Chrysler does a great tuning job, so they do not want Jeep owners to improve the product?

Was this security code also implemented on other cars' ECUs?
