Default Banks Headers & Cat Back

Has anyone tried the Banks headers in conjunction with their catback exhaust? I have a 2-door so am waiting for the development of the cat back. I know some of the 4-door versions may have this already installed.

Any other companies have a great header and exhaust combination? How is performance and sound?

Why would a 4-door jk require different headers than a 2 dr?

I believe he was referring to the catback system. They have not released the 2-door version yet.

I have the Banks Header on order and it should be here any day now. Will get back to you on the first impressions.

But, I am installing a Dynomax "Ultraflow" muffler and straight pipe. I have had awesome luck on 4 other vehicles; great rumble without the annoying drone with the cruise set or just coasting around. and I want to get rid of the stock muffler it acts like an anchor when rock crawling.

Just My Personal Opinions.........

Report back when you test out those headers I would imagine there should be some difference vs stock. Do you think Banks exhaust wouild be good, also? I know you have another brand.

Cool

The only knowledge I have .......Is that the Banks puts a muffler in the frame rails and a pipe out the back.....no more anchor to catch rocks........Sorry

I put on the Banks headers. I don't really notice any differnce from stock. In fact, the stock headers look very close in dimension as the Banks. I am also running a Gibson free flow muffler and AEM cai.

Default banks cat back 2 dr

Call banks directly to get facts. 800-601-8072 the 4dr and 2 dr is the same kit. The 4dr install requires putting on 18" to 24" pipe. (included). The 2 dr just don't use the pipe. Install my banks 6 weeks ago directions very clear on deletion on shorter pipe on 2dr. Not sure who is saying not available for the 2dr.
Sounds amazing.

Very interesting. I called banks directly as well however it was about 2 months ago and they could not give a time line for the 2 door kit saying it was still unavailable. My info was taken and I was also supposed to be notified when it was available. No websites advertise it yet including their own so I guess its their loss at this point. If thats all thats needed it should be packaged without the pipe and a little cheaper and already on the market.
