Default bar pin elimintors?

Im in the process if installing a lift and shocks, RK 2.5 max travel, fox 2.0 ifp with long travel uppers and evo rock star lowers. Wondering if i should install bar pin eliminators now while im doing everything. If so which type, the jks kit or the other type that consists of a flat plate with tabs the shock bolts to. The secind type looks like it will be easier to change shocks later as its bolted in place and just the shick bolt would have to come out, not the pita upper shock stock bolts. Or am i being paranoid....

honestly, there's no real need for BPE's and i wouldn't even bother. way more hassle to install them than it's worth. but, that's just my opinion.

it's all good. i ran a set on my old TJ and they were kind of a pain to work with. but, helped out in the rear as a set of shocks i was running at the time tended to pull the bushings out of the mounting holes. haven't had this problem at all on the JK especially being that most quality shocks come with bar pins already installed and into a bonded rubber bushing. they're just not needed on a JK and way more trouble than they're worth.

I had this exact problem in the rear. Ended up breaking my piston rod while driving haha... oops...

Ordered a new set of shocks and the JKS BPEs and haven't had a problem since. Like WOL said, it just depends on what shocks you get and the quality of the product. For reference, SkyJacker shocks/bushing/pins aren't worth jack.

I ran them in the rear upper on my XJ and have a set sitting here for the JK now too. just easier to work with the shocks imo after the BPE are in. plus a little more secure and less rattle.

I put BPE in my TJ because I got tired of breaking upper shock bolts and having to drill out the broken bolt. When I lifted my JK I just made sure to put lots of anti seize on the bolts.

the RC BPE are not a good design for the rear of the JK. I got mine installed today but it was not without aggravation. Removing them will suck too.
